Studies and researches have also shown that Africa supplies around 6% of world’s demand for coal, lead, steel, zinc, copper, graphite, iron ore, aluminum and cement. Africa also supplies up to 57% of the world demand for chromium and diamonds and 31% for gold, bauxite, cobalt, phosphate, manganese and uranium. Africa is also rich in terms of containing world’s most precious minerals including platinum, palladium, iridium, tantalum, rhodium, ruthenium and osmium under platinum group that are used in electronic, medical instruments and space-age materials in diminutive amounts. Africa continents are also rich in producing over 60 metal and mineral products and some of the most demanded metals like Diamonds, Gold, Tantalite, Titanium, Chromium, Nickel, Uranium, Manganese, Bauxite, Cobalt and PGE’s. Some of the metals like copper, lead, zinc and silver are produced and supplied to the world in lesser quantities in African continents. However, Africa hosts around 30% of mineral reserves including 40% gold, 60% cobalt and 90% PGM reserves. Providing so many great features and rich land Africa is emerging as one of the superfluous places providing great business opportunities.
